The Children’s Dyslexia Center of Philadelphia (CDCP) empowers youth living with dyslexia to develop reading, writing and spelling comprehension in order to improve academic potential, quality of life and confidence for life-long learning. Since 2007, the CDCP has trained teachers to use a Multi-sensory Structured Language Education (MSLE) training course based on the Orton-Gillingham Method (OGM) to actualize students' academic potential and optimize the learning experience. The CDCP is the only provider in the Philadelphia area offering this service, without charge, to members of the community.
